The Unsung Heroes of Broadband

When I first began to have broadband problems, I did what most people do and search the internet - when I could get on it. There is a lot of information out there, but good information can be difficult to find - and who do you trust when you find competing views.

To try and help those new to broadband problems through this morass of information, this blog will feature those websites, forums and software that I have used and found to be reliable. There will be lots of links in the hope that people who arrive here can be directed towards those reliable sources of information and away from the less reliable. More often than not, this high quality information is provided by good-hearted individuals who want to help others - the unsung heroes of British broadband.

Although the site is geared to BT broadband, much of the information can be applied to any broadband connection, from any ISP

Having had some major problems with my own broadband service, I understand how others struggle to get help from BT.

There is a lot of good information out there, but it can be hard to find. So this blog is an attempt to pull some of it together, in one place.

It's a blog that really shouldn't be needed - if only BT and possibly other ISP's in the UK, provided useful customer support.
